Finally got the comsui.com site upgraded from Ruby on Rails .9.x to 2.0.2. Way to many little deprecations and a few big defecations. Next, getting the spiders and robots working properly. With the huge loss of jobs it will be interesting to see how the number of available jobs fluctuates.
I have to ask, is it that bad out there? The 2001 techbubble pop was so horrible for the IT market that I don't see this in the same light. We had a tech depression from 2001 - 2005. Will we see a market that bad this time around, or is it that it hits everyone else, and us by default?
I have been collecting data about the job market since 2000. I watched the peak of the .com mania and the crash. Now seems to be a time of normalcy. This fascination with the data resulted in comsui.com, so that I can continually watch the market.
